BACKGROUND :

After tasting a disaster with Rebel  in his career Rebel Star Prabhas is now back with his stylish entertainer Mirchi. The movie took shape in the hands of writer turned director Koratala Shiva. Koratala Shiva who earlier penned for Bhadra, Tulasi had wield the Mega phone for this movie as the debutante director. Anushka and Richa are the female leads of this movie.

STORY :

Jai [Prabhas] is a cool, fun loving architect, who believes anything and everything in life can be changed with Love. In Italy, Jai comes across Manasa [Richa], Soon they turn into friends... to see her happy, Jai lands in India. Asusal with his charms and goodness he becomes close to Manasa's faction family. When the family accepted Jai to be their son-in-law, Jai reveals his past life which is connected with Vennela [Anushka] who is part of the rivalary group for Manasa family. What's the reason for rivalary between both groups? What is the past life of Jai? Does it connected to Richa or not? What is the end of this triangle love story? are to be seen on silver screen.

 PERFORMANCES :

• when compared with his previous flicks as an actor , star hero PRABHAS improvement has clearly shown in every frame .Prabhas well managed , three shades as Jai , Son of sweet parents , Mass young hero with powerful dialogues .Director koratal shiva's special care towards prabhas and his costumes delivered a charming prabhas on the screen .

• Anushka as vennela looked good on screen and her chemistry with Prabhas is too good . Her performance gave life to character and dances are exceptional.

• RICHA is just OK , but did not match to pair with prabhas even in a single frame .

• Sampath had got a crucial role and his performance is good as Protagonist . Satyaraj is good in the father role .Bramhi brought few laughs in character of “Veera Pratap”.Nagineedu, Subbaraj, Satyam Ramesh, Nadhiya , Raghu Babu, Kasi Viswanath justified to their roles .

• Few sentiment & emotional scenes.

Negative Aspects :

• Routine Predictable story line .

• Comedy track is a bit weak .
• RICHA .

CONCLUSION : 

While shaping a commercial flick director koratala shiva opted a old - forumlatic story line , he succeeded in elevating the heroism but not upto the mark as a director .MIRCHI will be an experience for koratala shiva to improve himself as a director .PRABHAS is the only HOT thing in MIRCHI & reason to watch .
